Make Sure It Fits

Our mop heads are designed for 1-tank spin mop systems the most popular bucket style on the market.

Before you order, check your bucket. If it has a single basin with a built-in spinner, you're good to go. Not compatible with 2-tank rinseclean systems.

Frequently asked questions

In most cases, yes. Our triangle-shaped heads are designed for 1-tank spin mop systems, the most common bucket style on the market, and fit the vast majority of major brands, including O-Cedar EasyWring (1-tank version), Hapinnex, Casabella, Mopnado, and most off-brand spin mops you'll find on Amazon or in stores.

Quick check: if your bucket has a single basin with a built-in spinner, you're good to go.

Traditional mops mostly push dirt and water around — they don't actually grab anything. Microfiber works differently. Each fiber is split into thousands of microscopic strands that physically lift and trap dirt, dust, grease, and up to 99% of bacteria, even with just water. Our high-density microfiber holds more water, glides smoother, dries faster, and leaves floors actually clean, not just wet. It's the difference between wiping a counter with a paper towel versus smearing it with a wet rag.

We recommend swapping in a fresh head every 4–5 uses — sooner if you're tackling heavy messes, pet areas, or larger square footage. Microfiber is incredibly effective at trapping dirt, but once those tiny fibers fill up, they stop picking anything new up and start redistributing what's already inside. Replacing regularly is the single easiest way to make sure your floors are actually getting cleaner each time you mop.

After repeated use, microfiber fibers get matted, lose their grip, and trap leftover dirt, soap residue, and bacteria deep inside the head. At that point, you're not cleaning your floor — you're spreading old grime across it. Worn-out heads can also:

  • Leave streaks and dull your floor's finish
  • Harbor bacteria that get released back onto your floors
  • Cause micro-scratches on hardwood, LVP, and other delicate surfaces

A fresh head every few cleans keeps your floors hygienic and looking like new.

Two things matter most — how you wash them and what you mop with:

  • Washing: Machine wash in warm water with mild detergent. Skip fabric softener and bleach (both destroy microfiber's grip). Lay flat to dry — no dryer.

What you clean with: This is the big one. Most everyday floor cleaners — bleach-based formulas, ammonia, harsh disinfectants — break down microfiber fibers, causing them to shrink, mat, and start absorbing bacteria instead of releasing it in the wash. That's why we created Blyss Mop Soap: plant-based, pH-balanced, and microfiber-safe. It cleans deeply without the harsh chemicals that wreck your mop heads (and dull your floors over time).

Yes — toss them in the washer and they come out like new. Wash in warm water, skip the fabric softener and bleach, then lay flat to dry. Each head holds up wash after wash, so you skip the disposables and save money in the long run.
